The 1-minute guide on how to use Enduro Bites for cyclocross

Now that you know how to use Beta Red for cyclocross (here’s last week’s post, if you missed it), you may be wondering where Enduro Bites fit into the picture. We’ve got you covered with this 1-minute guide on how to use Enduro Bites for cyclocross.

  • Our recommendation: To top off your blood glucose for maximum performance, eat 1 to 2 Enduro Bites pieces 20 to 30 minutes prior to race start. For most of us this will be after warming up and making final race preparations, just before heading to the starting area for staging.
  • Cyclocross single speed national champ Tim Allen’s advice: 2 hours before a race I drink a cup of coffee with one Enduro Bite (100 calories). Then, 1 hour before the start, I drink a bottle of Beta Red (1.5 scoops in 16 ounces of water) and eat another Enduro Bite.
