Small Business Financial Specialist Needed

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Small Business Financial Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll management, sales and use tax, 1099 filings, as well as bank and credit card account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processing, including but not limited to, calculating wages, preparing payroll tax filings, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Handle sales and use tax filings accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with state and local tax laws.
- Prepare and file 1099 forms for contractors and vendors in accordance with IRS regulations.
- Perform bank and credit card account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with client to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving financial processes.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll management, sales and use tax, 1099 filings, and bank and credit card account reconciliation.
- Experience working with small businesses is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
